Metal self-drill plasterboard screws, also called gypsum board drilling screw or drilling screw in the fastener industry, mainly made from C1022A low carbon steel raw materials. After heat treatment, drywall screw have high surface hardness. Because the end is shaped like a drill. No pre-hole is needed during installing. Sheetrock screws easily penetrate 0.8-1.2mm steel plates and connect securely with  gypsum board.

Due to their high quality, wallboard screws are commonly used for fastening in metal stud frameworks and ceiling construction.
